Concern for the environment and promoting a broader sustainability agenda are integral to Accomplished Event Ltd's professional activities and the management of the organisation. We accept that our operations and procedures have an impact on the environment and aim to follow and promote good sustainability practice; to reduce the environmental impacts of all our activities and to help our clients and partners do the same at no extra cost to the delivery of our services.

Principles

Our sustainability policy is based upon the following principles:
- To comply with and exceed, where practicable, all applicable legislation, regulations and codes of practice
- To integrate sustainability considerations into all our business decisions
- To ensure that all staff are fully aware of our sustainability policy and are committed to implementing and improving it
- To review and to strive to improve our sustainability performance

Practical Steps

In order to put these principles into practice we will:

Travel & Meetings
- Walk and/or use public transport to attend meetings and site visits, apart from in circumstances where the alternatives are impractical and/or cost prohibitive.
- Promote car sharing where possible

Purchase of Equipment & Consumption of Resources
- Minimise our use of paper and other  consumables, for example by reusing all paper used, and identifying opportunities to reduce waste
- Purchase office paper produced from sustainable sources
- Issue documents electronically wherever possible and only print materials that are required to be in a hard copy
- Have separate waste bins for recyclable materials
- Recycle all electronic equipment responsibly
- Develop events with sustainable materials in mind, for example using rechargeable batteries and other re-usable materials, and offer alternatives to activities with higher environmental impacts, for example laser instead of real clays


Monitoring & Reporting

Our Sustainability Policy will be monitored annually and reviewed by the owners. The owners will seek to continually improve environmental performance.
