Namco Corporate Showcase

In February 2012 we teamed up with our venue partner Namco to host our corporate clients at their Namco Funscape property on the South Bank.  Together, we had a real treat in store for our attendees starting with champagne on arrival, a great way to begin their Namco adventure with us! Next, armed with tokens and in audible excitement we almost sprinted to the dodgems to have a team battle!  Five minutes later when the horn sounded for us to vacate our cars, we found ourselves stuck to our car seats and ready to face each other again in another round of bumping, chasing and swerving, while crying with laughter.

With bags of tokens left over, we spent them frugally on simulators, shooting games, dance machines and an array of other slot machines all aimed to entertain and entice!

After some yummy food platters and more spent tokens we had a bowling competition where dodgy techniques were on show and true professionals came to the fore!  There were gutter balls, thrown balls, strikes, spares and two rounds of constant humour as we competed to be the victors of our lanes!

Following bowling we spent our remaining tokens on more simulators and arcade games and finally retired to the Namoke lounge for the culmination of our evening, a spot of karaoke with a selection of musical instruments, blow up props and comedic hats which generated more laughter.

A special shining star certainly bowled us over with not only his tenpin talents but also his faultless rendition of the Lion King’s ‘Can you feel the love tonight’
