Cliveden Agents Familiarisation Trip

In March 2012 Accomplished Events in conjunction with our venue partner Cliveden hosted 5 agency clients and their partners to showcase both our superb product offerings in a truly beautiful setting steeped in history.

Being close to Easter and on a sunny Sunday afternoon, we greeted guests with a welcome drink outside on the stunning terrace at Cliveden, followed by a tasty buffet lunch in the library. Guests then experienced a taster of our Chocolate Apprentices event where they made not only their own creations but they also branded them up as part of a product development task.  The winning team indulged themselves in pink sparkly paper and created delectable ‘Towie’ branded chocolates.  Each chocolate had an Essex saying piped on top in icing, such as ‘Shuttup’ ‘Well Jel’ and event Towie character names.  Part of their concept was that they’d have Mark Wright endorse the brand!  With the general public not seeming to get enough of Towie and the many spin off products from the show, the judges decided that these innovative chocolates would fit into the ‘low budget’ chocolate market perfectly.  So what was the winning prize?  Classy premium brand chocolates of course!

Next guests had some spare time to enjoy the spa, explore the magnificent 376 acre grounds and soak up the sun before meeting at 6.30pm for our next treat, a wine tasting session! On route to the venue’s original wine cellar the original servants bells could be viewed and the many secret underground tunnels were revealed. After trying a diverse collection of wines and completing our wine tasting quiz, answers were marked in preparation for another prize giving ceremony over dinner!

Dinner was an indulgent affair of multiple courses, cooked to perfection and enjoyed in the wonderful surroundings of the French Dining Room.

We culminated our familiarisation event with a nightcap in the library before thanking our guests for their attendance and toasting to a successful showcase event!  Mission most certainly Accomplished
