Mission: To create an event which appeals to delegates from several nationalities. Employees were flying to the venue from 14 different countries so it was imperative that the event embraced different cultures in order for everyone to feel involved. As the attendees did not know each other, the client wanted them to bond through the activities and compete in teams for prizes.
Accomplished: We offered the client a range of activities from our Around the World event which has team building games themed to different countries so it’s ideal for an international group. Of our twenty diverse options the client chose the following activities: Archery in Canada, wine tasting with a wine knowledge quiz in France, Olympic athletic challenges in Greece, circus skills in Russia and name that spice in India. These mixed challenges meant that there was something for every attendee’s capabilities and the tasks were hugely varied. To meet the competitive element in the clients brief, we had guests compete head to head in teams in each of the activity zones. Each zone was point scoring and the results were tallied at the end and the teams in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place all received a medal and prize as well as a hard earned place on our podium!
